My former dance studio used to have a poster of Fred Astaire in this pose. It was really tall, I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was life size or maybe a little taller than that. When I saw the original picture for the first time, I was really upset that my studio didn’t include Ginger Rogers in there. I love Fred, but Ginger was his leading lady. She did everything that he did, backwards, in heels.
